The problem
With 24/7 broadband, the always-available culture, 'instant' this and 'always-on' that, we have a load of gizmos and gadgets at home and at work and we seem to have forgotten how to use the off button. Computers and computer peripherals are some of the biggest offenders being left on in homes, offices and schools all day and night along with network printers, VoIP phones, photocoipers, in fact all kinds of electrical equipment.

What's the answer?
PC Power Down powers down PCs and other electrical equipment if it has been left at a scheduled time each day saving electricity and unnecessary carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. The scheduling software can then be used to switch the PCs and other elctrical equipment back on again.
